*nope. shes not preserving shit. Mariah knows herself that her voice gets stronger the more she sings. she isnt singing non stop like 15 years ago. so her being void of singing live, is actually & most certainly causing her far more damage than benefit. I mean, pay attention to her christmas concerts, or other shows when she used to sing live in like 2016-18 .. her first show would be good, but not great, with rocky moments, but as each night progressed her vocal performance w out a doubt enhanced & strengthened - from her belting, to her clarity & to her agility... now, imagine, now, Mariah, not singing at all, for id say 4 years straight, essentially?...... horrible choice. it would be different if Mariah had songs to likes of lets say, Rihanna or JHENE AIKO.. whereas, they dont utilize much of a high range, or use dynamics in their singing & could get away w doing the bare minimum.. Mariah tho, her songs consist of dynamics, upper belts, whistles, descending/ascending runs, whisper register, & more.. so for a singer like Mariah, her NOT practicing and singing live, will destroy her technique & only continue to lead her on a downward vocal spiral. sorry I know this was long.*

​@@TimothiWin period. and her abstinence of live singing has already shown effects on her voice, especially on her modal register. you can really hear the effort it takes for her to reach *EVEN* the top notes of a baritone (E4 to G4). her voice also sounds less flexible and more constricted, paired with the worsening jaw tension as she got older. and to see comments hoping she'll improve with the passing dates? come on now. Mariah has to put in the effort first, if she even wants to, at this point.

@ *THIS! & YASSSSS.* *im also going to blatantly state that in regards to her vocal nodules, I personally feel her NOT getting the surgery ATP, is more risky than getting it. I mean, she truly has nothing to lose.* *hear me out: if her prior excuse to not getting the surgery was due to it allowing her to whistle etc.. well, umm, reality check, she doesnt even whistle anymore, & when she does, as much as I HATE to say this, as a former lamb, her whistles sounds frail, awkward, & with bad placement. so the surgery along with TRUE vocal practice, & hiring a coach to help Mariah RE-LEARN the ins & outs of her current voice, while taking a year off to do this, would 100% in my opinion help her at least sing LIVE.* *and if she never does the surgery, well, maybe she should still hire a coach, practice daily. stop having so many people around where she cant have moments to 'sound ugly' alone.. as a singer, you need to have those moments to learn your range & know your limits, and to vocally prosper. I truly feel Mariah has so many variables preventing her from vocally soaring like before.* sorry I know this is long, but Mariah was my EVERYTHING, so I find myself with lots to say. lol
